Please join us on May 27th at 11:30am-12:30pm ET for a new STR Conversation, Strategy meets Marketing
The business fields of Strategy and Marketing both study the interface between firms and their customers, and so researchers in the two fields often address similar questions. When and how should a firm enter a new market? How should a firm develop its new products in the first place? How can data from customers inform the firm's strategic decisions? And how do new products diffuse through a population of adopters? This session will bring together leading scholars from Marketing and Strategy to share their perspectives on their respective fields, discuss research that bridges the two fields, and explore where future opportunities for cross-fertilization between the fields might lie.
The panel discussion will be followed by a Q&A session.
