Digital and AI technologies are disrupting how firms operate and compete. In this seminar, we will explore to what extent our current strategy theories apply to the digital world. The presenters will recap recent research on digital transformation, explore the impact of digital technology on creative industries, identify open research questions worthy of further exploration, and discuss how strategy scholars can conduct relevant research that informs both the academy and practice. We will also discuss how you might bring current insights from research into the classroom. Seminar participants will have the opportunity to discuss ideas and ask questions.
