I am working on a project where one element is trying to show the intellectual provenance of the discipline (and techniques) of strategy. Ideally it would be best to show how strategy draws on the theories, models and techniques of existing STEM disciplines. The relevant specific list of STEM disciplines is the one kept by the DHS's Student and Exchange Visitor Program at https://www.ice.gov/doclib/sevis/pdf/stemList2024.pdf. If there are texts or papers that do a good job of this, that would be great to know. Please feel free to respond to me directly (jerome.katz@slu.edu) or to the list.
