Dear Friends of Strategy Science, I am pleased to report that after a long wait, Strategy Science has finally received its inaugural Journal Impact Factor from Clarivate – a score of 3.9. While the score sits near the very top of the Clarivate "Emerging Sources" category, the score is more importantly very close to the scores of our highly esteemed and more established INFORMS sister journals, Organization Science, Management Science, and Marketing Science, which range from 4.1 to 5.4. Citations to Strategy Science have doubled in the past two years, which reflects a continued strong upward trend in the journal's impact. This initial JIF from Clarivate combined with strong SJR scores from Scimago, which weight not only the number of articles, but the quality of the source of these citations, provide objective metrics that help explain the journal's rapidly growing use in tenure review processes at top business schools. Strategy Science remains committed to selecting and expeditiously developing a rather small set of strategy papers each year from across the globe and providing them with maximum exposure. Strategy Science has assembled an outstanding group of senior and contributing editors, and an intellectually diverse editorial board. We hope you will send us your strongest and most innovative work in strategy for which you seek maximum impact.
Sincerely,Todd ZengerEditor-in-Chief
