The Management Department in the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina invites applications and nominations for a tenure track Assistant or Associate Professor in Human Resources, Organizational Behavior, or Strategic Management. We seek applicants who complement the Department's existing research areas of emphasis and the Department's various outreach opportunities. Applicants for consideration at the rank of Associate Professor will be limited to those with an exceptional record of teaching, research and service and years of relevant experience consistent with University policy. All faculty searches are subject to the availability of funding.
The position requires a doctoral degree by the start date of employment in management or a related field, the ability to conduct high-quality research that can fit within the highly collaborative research community of OB/HR/Strategic Management scholars, a demonstrated record or the potential to publish consistently in top-tier scholarly journals commensurate with faculty rank, and the ability to engage in outreach to corporate and other affiliates of our department's multiple research centers. Candidates who have evidence of securing external funding from either private, State, or Federal sources will be given preference.
