New Single-Stage Submission Process for 2027:
ACERE has adopted a single-stage submission process for 2027. We accept three types of submissions (you will be asked to indicate submission type on the submission system):
- Full Paper: Manuscripts representing well developed research will be considered for presentation in a traditional seminar paper presentation format (typically 5,000–7,000 words, excluding tables and references). However, if judged not to be sufficiently developed research, they may be allocated to a round table presentation format. Only full papers will be considered for best paper awards.
- Developmental Paper. This indicates an early-stage manuscript (typically 2,000–4,000 words, excluding tables and references). If accepted, developmental papers will be presented in a round table presentation format.
- Extended Abstract: Extended abstracts should be approximately 900 words. If accepted, extended abstracts will be presented in a round table presentation format. Extended abstracts are arranged into three main sections: i) Principal Topic; ii) Method (or "Key Propositions" for conceptual papers); and iii) Results and Implications.
