    The Department of Management and Information Systems in the College of Business at Mississippi State University invites applications for a Tenure Track Assistant Professor position in Management with a focus on Strategy to start in August 2027. Responsibilities include scholarly research, teaching, and service. Research expectations are consistent with those of an AACSB-accredited, doctoral degree-granting college of business. A typical teaching load is two courses per semester. Candidates will be expected to teach courses in Strategy at the graduate and undergraduate levels. Finally, candidates should have a commitment to appropriate levels of service within the department, college, and university.

    Requirements and Preferred Qualifications

    Candidates must hold a PhD in Management or a closely related field or be ABD with convincing evidence of degree completion prior to the August 2027 start date. Preferably, candidates will have demonstrated the ability to produce high-quality research leading to publication in top-tier management journals, as well as the ability to teach courses related to Strategy.

MSU's Center for Entrepreneurship and Outreach (ecenter.msstate.edu/) is also housed in the College of Business.
