Fall 2019 Newsletter - Part 1

Greetings STR Division Members!

Welcome to the STR 2019 Fall Newsletter. Starting last spring, STR began distributing its newsletter
(1) via links to the STR website, rather than as a single pdf document and (2) over a three-week
period, rather than all at once. This initial section of the Newsletter focuses on calls for papers, book
announcements, and other items that might be of interest to the STR membership. Links to these
items are below.

The links now go to the STR Community on the AOM Connect platform, which allows users to
respond to the announcement posters and to interact with one another.

STR Communications Director, Paolo Aversa, has graciously posted the Newsletter announcements
from his own AOM Connect account. In the future, we probably will ask submitters to post directly to
AOM Connect themselves, which would allow viewers to reply, ask questions, message one another,
etc.
