  • 2026 Outstanding Educator Award

    Professor Frank T. Rothaermel will be the recipient of the 2026 STR Outstanding Educator Award for his contributions and impact on MBA/Executive teaching. Frank T. Rothaermel is a Regents’ Professor, the highest academic rank in the University System of Georgia. He holds the Russell and Nancy McDonough Chair in the Scheller College of Business at the Georgia Institute of Technology, is an Alfred P. Sloan Industry Studies Fellow. 

    Prof. Rothaermel will be recognized in the Award Session at the 2026 AOM Annual Meeting, where he will provide a keynote speech. We hope to see you all in the award session to celebrate Professor Rothaermel.

  • 2026 STR Distinguished Scholar Award

    Professor Sidney G. Winter will be the recipient of the 2026 STR Distinguished Scholar Award. Sidney Winter is the Deloitte and Touche Professor of Management, Emeritus, at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.  Prof. Winter will be recognized in the Award Session at the 2026 AOM Annual Meeting, where he will provide a keynote speech.
