STR Announcements: June Events
The STR Division completed several virtual events in May including conversations regarding the overlap with International Business and Organization Theory, Ph.D. networking events, and a MEC-sponsored Strategy Jam. Thank you for participating. Our hope is that these sessions will spur future efforts to explore the boundaries associated with these and related fields of study. All STR events are available on our YouTube and BiliBili channels.
In June, the MEC will sponsor another Strategy Jam and we will have a dialogue session exploring the intersection between Organization Design and Strategic Management research. I hope you will join the community enjoying these events and creating and disseminating ideas that matter for the field of strategic management!

STR Distinctiveness Dialogue – STR & Organization Design
The STR Distinctiveness Dialogue Series focuses on the overlaps and distinctions between the Strategic Management division (STR) and complementary domains. The series aims to foster dialogue in areas of mutual interest by identifying: a) foundational assumptions and connections across prominent theories, b) distinctive contributions of each domain, and c) research opportunities at the intersection of the domains. In this session, we will focus on the contributions of research involving strategic management and organization design.
