STR Virtual Symposium: The Strategic Resources and Capabilities of Industry 4.0

This virtual research symposium will feature cutting-edge research about the strategic resources and capabilities of industry 4.0. The panelists will share their insights about five types of resources and capabilities with increased prominence, including financial capital, human capital, general-purpose technologies, artificial intelligence, and intellectual property. Each panelist will reflect on a) the strategic importance of these resources and capabilities, b) existing research about the strategic management of these resources and capabilities, c) research gaps to better understand and advance strategic considerations about these resources and capabilities.
