We are delighted to announce that the Strategic Management Division will once again sponsor a Mid-Career Consortium during the 2024 Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management. This event is set to return to an in-person format and will be held at the Sheraton hotel on Sunday, August 11th, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM in Chicago.

The Consortium is designed for STR faculty members who attained tenure on or before August 2023 and possess a minimum of five years of academic experience. It will include panel discussions featuring senior faculty members, as well as break-out and/or Q&A sessions, providing mid-career faculty members with the opportunity to interact with each other and with the panel of senior faculty. This interactive session aims to foster meaningful discussions about the opportunities and challenges faced by scholars making the transition from junior to senior roles. Participants are encouraged to contribute questions or topics for discussion, along with a short bio for distribution before the session.

The following panellists will participate: Richard Whittington (U. of Oxford, EC member), Cynthia Devers (Virginia Tech), Brian McCann (Vanderbilt U.), and Vibha Gaba (INSEAD). The 2024 STR Mid-Career Consortium will be co-chaired by Govert Vroom (IESE Business School) and Heli Wang (Singapore Management University). Please reach out to either or both of us for inquiries.

We look forward to your active participation and meaningful contributions to the Mid-Career Consortium!
