Tear down this wall! Engaging intra-, inter-, and transdisciplinary perspectives to move beyond silo thinking for sustainability in business.
Are you a researcher in any business-related discipline who is interested in issues of sustainability? Then our Call for Papers and our preceeding Call for Extended Abstracts for a respective Special Issue of the International Journal of Management Reviews might be interesting for you:
We seek literature reviews addressing the fragmentation of research on sustainability in business. Our call emphasizes the need for intra-, inter-, and transdisciplinary approaches to advance knowledge in this field. The special issue aims to break down disciplinary silos by encouraging literature reviews that integrate diverse perspectives. Key questions include, amongst others, examining the knowledge structure, overcoming discipline-specific limitations, and applying methodologies from other fields. Our goal is to foster comprehensive and impactful research on sustainability by bridging gaps between various sub-disciplines and broader fields.
Deadline for the submission of Extended abstract (optional!) is August 31, 2024. The submission window for full paper submissions is January 2025
Please see the attached document for further information on this special issue edited by Rüdiger Hahn, Daniel Reimsbach, Nicole Darnall, Effie Kesidou, Constantinos Leonidou, and Marianna Marra!
