We offer a 70% paid PhD position in organization studies/strategic management at the University of Neuchâtel, Switzerland, starting October 1st, 2023. The position is a four-year position. The PhD student will join Prof. Claudia Jonczyk and her team working on the topics of networks and social capital, strategic change, gender in management etc.
Activities
- Contribute to research and other scholarly activities of the Chair
- Work on your dissertation using qualitative or quantitative methods
- Assist in (strategic) management lectures and contribute to the related tasks (course material creation, exam prep, student support, etc.)
Requirements
- Master's degree in management, psychology, economics, or statistics
- Excellent grades
- Evidence of an analytical mind and solid quantitative and/or qualitative skills
- Ability to work both as part of a team and independently
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment
- Excellent command of English (oral and written)
- Good command of French or willingness to learn French
- Passion for research and teaching
- Interest in network studies, social capital, strategic change, international management and/or gender aspects of management
