How can generative AI, machine learning, 3D printing, AI ethics, and other cutting-edge topics and tools be incorporated into the strategy curriculum? How can the traditional strategy canon be broadened to include new emerging themes such as entrepreneurial grand challenges and environmental sustainability? How can business schools innovate at the course and program levels to adapt strategy education for today's dynamic business environment?
This virtual event explores innovations in teaching strategic management. A panel of leading strategy scholar-teachers will share their own experiences, learnings, and best practices for innovating in strategy teaching, both in terms of new content and pedagogical practices. There will be ample time for audience Q&A.

Panelist Biographies (in alphabetical order by last name):
J.P. Eggers is Vice Dean for MBA & Graduate Programs and the Catherine & Peter Kellner Professor of Entrepreneurship at the NYU Stern School of Business, where he also directs the Andre Koo Technology & Entrepreneurship MBA Program. He was named one of the Top 50 Most Influential Business Professors and among the Top 40 Business Professors Under 40 by various media outlets, and teaches core strategy, advanced strategy, and business analytics & organizations. Professor Eggers is also the recipient of the NYU Stern Faculty Leadership Award, is a member of the NYU Society of Fellows, and also serves as an associate editor at Administrative Science Quarterly. He received his PhD in Management from The Wharton School.
Emily Cox Pahnke is the Lawrence P. Hughes Endowed Professor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Washington, Foster School of Business. Her course "Grand Challenges for Entrepreneurs" received the Aspen Institute's "Ideas Worth Teaching" award. Professor Pahnke is the recipient of numerous teaching awards, including the University of Washington Distinguished Teaching Award, a University-wide award given for excellence in teaching and the Wells Fargo/Dean's Faculty Award for Undergraduate Teaching. She also received the TIM Emerging Scholar Award from the Academy of Management and was named a Schulze Distinguished Professorship in Entrepreneurship. She received her PhD in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University.
Dan Wang is the Lambert Family Associate Professor of Social Enterprise and Co-Director of the Tamer Center for Social Enterprise at Columbia Business School. He received the 2020 Dean's Award for Excellence in Teaching in the Core and the 2018 Singhvi Prize for Scholarship in the Classroom, Columbia Business School's top teaching honor conferred by the graduating MBA class. He was also named to Poets and Quants' 2018 list of "Best 40 Business School Professors under 40." Professor Wang teaches Core Strategy and Technology Strategy in the MBA curriculum. He also serves as an associate editor at Strategic Management Journal. He received his PhD in Sociology from Stanford University.
