On Manash's query about restricting copy-paste, consider:

1. Incentivized honor-system grading. The idea is to let students grade their own submissions, which you audit from time to time, as in U.S. income-tax filings. When audited, a submission receives a bonus or penalty, depending on the veracity of the student's grade.
