Call for Papers: Business of Space Conference 2026

    Conference Overview
The University of Alabama in Huntsville's (UAH) College of Business invites
submissions for the Business of Space Conference 2026, which will be held on the UAH
campus from March 1-3, 2026. The theme of this interdisciplinary conference is
"Beyond Earth, Within Reach: Scaling the Space Economy." To align with this
theme, the conference solicits business-related space research and will showcase its
    value to space sector stakeholders.
This annual conference provides a setting where attendees can engage with top
academics, business leaders, innovators, and policy influencers working on the New
Space Economy. Keynote presentations and discussions will foster collaboration
between researchers and space economy industry stakeholders. These conversations
will present the latest insights into the New Space Economy and shape future academic
    and policy research.
    Conference Topics
We welcome all submissions for papers or entire sessions related to commercial-related
research on the New Space Economy broadly defined. Empirical and theoretical
contributions from all business disciplines will be considered, including but not limited to:
    ● Economics
    ● Accounting
    ● Strategic management
    ● Finance
    ● Marketing
    ● Information systems
    ● Supply chain management, operations, decision sciences
    ● Space law and policy
    ● Public-private sector coordination and intergovernmental relations
    ● International trade and relations
    ● Risk management

By presenting the latest space commerce research, submissions will fit well with the
conference theme of forging partnerships and synergies among space sector
stakeholders in academic, industry, and government spheres.
